Video Game Cosplay: The Ladies of Nintendo

I am not the type of person that goes crazy for cosplay.  I know it exists, and occasionally I find cosplay pictures online that look really professional that I am a big fan of.  I personally am more interested in the female side of things in cosplay, rather than the male, for obvious reasons.  In this brief article, I will post some of my recent favorites that I’ve seen, and also a couple of live action videos that I think are really cool.  Hit the jump to see “The Ladies of Nintendo.”

Netflix Feature Film of the Month #1

You Go Gamers!!

This is not a Nintendo-only related article, and for that I apologize.  But, when I first read this piece of news on Yahoo today, I felt so good about gaming that I just had to share it with all of you.  Please take the time to read about this wonderful news.  For years, I’ve been hearing many people say that gaming is useless and a waste of time, which at times can be discouraging as a gamer, especially if it comes from someone close to you.  Well, this news is proof for all the naysayers out there that in fact, gaming can be beneficial to society in the real world.  For all of us passionate about gaming, we should never let other’s opinions negatively affect our enthusiasm for games.  As evidenced by this recent news, gaming can indeed be good for humanity and the skill should be viewed more positively as an asset going forward.  I’ve never been so proud to be a gamer as I am today.
